Still alive. In a way.

There was a time that I thought that Xanga was a very important part of my life.  I would check it last thing at night, first thing in the morning, and about a hundred times in between.  I would search through other blogrings, read, comment, and try to make friends.  Now, its been almost a year since the last time I posted.  In the mean time, Ive dun gradeated, gotten engaged (plan to marry in late December), been working hard trying to design the house that Abbie and I will live in and find the best people to build it, and scads of other things.  Other adult things.  Summers used to be so easy.  That was the time to really kick back and relax, to play games, to have fun.  Now its just not that way.  Perhaps its better.  It is what it is and what it will be for a long time regardless.  Anyway, I hope all is well for any of the people who still read Xanga if there are any such folk.

I can outpull an outboard motor....

So, the title refers to a long story, which is much better in person, that I only referenced because I wanted an excuse to post this picture.  Just try to tell me she isnt the most beautiful creature you have ever seen.  But before you do, there are a few things to keep in mind.

1.  Men: There are three ways to deal with this.  A.  Casually agree.  B.  Make lude comments that may inspire me to beat you (or if you are much bigger than me, make derogatory comments about you behind your back).  C.  Disagree, which only shows your stupidity and may also inspire me to beat you.

2.  Women.  Nevermind, I have no idea how I would deal with any comment you may make other than agreeing or telling me how lucky I am, both of which I am already aware of.

I saw a bearded cat.... And it was wonderful

Since it has been roughly 8 months since my last update, perhaps it is time.  I could excuse my absence by saying I have been busy, which is true, or that I didnt have anything to say, which isnt quite so true.  Or, perhaps I have just been biding my time until something truly post-worthy came about.  And I think it has.  It has been an odd week (Abbie and I are in Oxford right now, and I posted a few pictures of  our encounters in England so far.  Abbie intimadated a giant hare, I got eaten by a dinosaur when I wasnt paying attention, then was captured by a very large very angry bird, and multiple other occurances that are worth a look).   But perhaps the coolest picture I have taken is the one I attached below.  They say a picture is worth a thousand words.  I only need 4.  I saw a bearded cat.  Oh, and 4 more.  Abbie was with me.  And 4 more again.  And it was wonderful.

Another semester is starting again; blah, blah,

break is over, again; blah, blah

Three months, and still going strong.

I can think of one reason I am happy break is over.

*Note* Two person Coveralls- Great for turning those really cold miserable days into something wonderful.

So, I havent really been posting a lot recently because, well, Ive been busy.  You see, around this time of the year, there are these things called midterms, and some of these are BIG tests, and some are MASSIVE projects.

In fact, I still have several more such things to do, but I am procrastinating as usual, or at least what has been usual this semester.  I used to (gasp) actually get things done ahead of time.  I know.  Its a crazy idea.

Also, I know that most of you are sick of hearing about it, but, I would like to point out that I changed my music back to Ben Folds.  I still cant play piano, or sing, but I think I know what he is singing about now.  Thanks Abbie.

Despite my busy-ness, I am insanely happy (or maybe just insane)  Either way, I wish you all the best!
